Great article. I saw Barbara Walker's "Shock and Awe" exhibition a few years ago in Birmingham, and I still remember it vividly. Her blend of traditional drawing techniques and conceptual interventions (like erasing large portions of her own drawings) was powerful. Thanks for shining a light on these artists.
