I couldn’t agree more.

It’s great to take off when you want and not have to ask for permission from anyone else. One of the most liberating feelings is turning down a client that you know is not a good fit, or passing by a low-paying job. In some ways, it is even more confidence-building than landing a big job, because it can remind you that you are in fact in control of your own destiny.
